Life keeps changing, people so angsty Not much time and everything's fading We gon' die but before that day we Still can smile Life keeps changing, people so angsty Not much time and everything's fading We gon' die but before that day we Still can smile One life to live, you know the cliché Everybody wants to be a winner like a sweepstakes Taste success but wonder when I might choke Walk through my days like a juggler on a tightrope Fed up with my head up, tryin' to keep it vertical And not go and flush everything away like a urinal Built a foundation on fertile land But bad circumstance turned my plans into dirt and sand Some fight fate like they're castigating karma Heat bearing down like they're trapped inside a sauna Social media feeds trafficking in trauma Visible vulnerabilities through lacerated armor And maybe I'm soft like velveteen 'Cause all these algorithms really messin' with my self-esteem Gloom showing, doomscrolling from dusk to dawn Full of outrage fatigue and can't brush it off Life keeps changing, people so angsty Not much time and everything's fading We gon' die but before that day we Still can smile Life keeps changing, people so angsty Not much time and everything's fading We gon' die but before that day we Still can smile This goes out to the dudes and the girls we like Goin' through it and still shinin' them pearly whites To kids shakin' and breakin' because they hurt at night Turnin' hardships into art with every word they write Brain fog can blind imagination Offset progress, stunt your maturation I think I'm finally ready, though, to be a man with some Happiness beyond my Peter Pan syndrome Deep down demons, dueling with a monster It can haunt ya, but forward moving is the mantra Takin' time, too tepid and temperamental Got more to explore, my existential potential Huh, but let me put it into simple terms Live and learn and take advantage when it's your turn Mile after mile gave me trial after trial But I still ain't dead, so let me smile for a while Life keeps changing, people so angsty Not much time and everything's fading We gon' die but before that day we Still can smile Life keeps changing, people so angsty Not much time and everything's fading We gon' die but before that day we Still can smile Life keeps changing Everything's fading Fading, fading

[Christopher Michael Jensen] Hey, let's talk about my generation Higher education with lower level wages Inheriting a fucked up economy From brainwashed boomers with twisted ideologies So my generation's full o' despair Filled with pills, disillusioned, thinkin' no one'll care, yeah Askin' if we have a death wish 'Cause I keep seein' the deceased in my Facebook friends list Senseless, venting in virtual voids On a dyin' planet that's been hurt and destroyed Saw active shooters in a class o' students As the paranoia mounted with massive movements Survivalism, no canteens or canned beans Starvin' in a garden, it's time to plant seeds Deserve better in the times that we face Still maladjusted, but finding our ways [Christopher Michael Jensen] My generation, yeah, my generation My generation, yeah, my generation Up against the world, no preparation But this one's for you, my dedication My generation, yeah, my generation My generation, yeah, my generation At the end of our ropes, desperation But this one's for you [OKnice] My generation's always knowin' where the exit is In any place in case there's a gun and gotta exit quick All some drops in a bucket and now who's next to kick A world where there's nothin' to lose and so what's left is this Some debt, some death, no rest, no checks So go ahead, Mr. Officer, you can check my breath Perfectly sober, maybe I'm wantin' to wreck Know that carryin' that badge don't require respect Got a cocktail of pills just to function Got degrees on the wall that mean nothin' Wanna cry but instead I'm mean-muggin' Don't wanna die, I just wanna feel somethin' So I glue my eyes to a screen to find what I need My mind can retreat, then rest, rinse, and repeat All my days been the same, countin' steps on the street All my songs been the same, just stress and a beat [Christopher Michael Jensen & Sei Young] Chris: My generation, yeah, my generation My generation, yeah, my generation Up against the world, no preparation But this one's for you, my dedication My generation, yeah, my generation My generation, yeah, my generation At the end of our ropes, desperation But this one's for you Sei: (My generation, my generation My generation, my generation Against the world, no preparation This one's for you, my dedication My generation, my generation My generation, my generation End of our ropes, desperation This one's for you) [Sei Young] Uh, we're a product of the boom, there was toxins in the womb You could lock us in a room with the product to consume We'll frolic in the gloom 'til we're followin' the flume To that watered down part of town that profits off our tomb Face full of our phones, bathin' in loans Couldn't make it alone, so we're stayin' at home, uh Raisin' our own, didn't wait 'til we're grown And the ways we were shown are outdated and foreign These days go by so fast, cherish every little Moment, they don't last, before you know it They are gone Gone These days go by so fast, cherish every little Moment, they don't last, before you know it They are gone Gone [Christopher Michael Jensen] My generation, yeah, my generation My generation, yeah, my generation Up against the world, no preparation But this one's for you, my dedication My generation, yeah, my generation My generation, yeah, my generation At the end of our ropes, desperation But this one's for you, my dedication [Christopher Michael Jensen & Sei Young] Chris: My generation, yeah, my generation My generation, yeah, my generation Up against the world, no preparation But this one's for you, my dedication My generation, yeah, my generation My generation, yeah, my generation At the end of our ropes, desperation But this one's for you Sei: (My generation, my generation My generation, my generation Against the world, no preparation This one's for you, my dedication My generation, my generation My generation, my generation End of our ropes, desperation This one's for you)

Dark Clouds 04:06
Take everything inside my dome, put it all inside a poem I can drone on an on like a dial tone Please call me, low battery on my dyin' phone A metaphor for my life and I don't wanna die alone Isolation, boxed in like styrofoam Bolsterin' my budget in hopes that I can go buy a home I oughtta do better, wonderin' why I don't Way too many bullshit excuses that I condone Self-doubt doubling, mentally unsettling Waiting for a wedding ring, wishing for some better things Maintain, riding out the pain, keep on peddling Up and down unknown roads and sick o' settling I stayed away from drugs but caved to other vices Invested in my goals but paid some other prices Got some bad habits, plus a bunch o' baggage I'm unpackin' Takin' action so that I can change up what my life is Fed up with it all, lookin' for a way out Everything around me's heavy, headed for a breakdown I just wanna get up, yeah, I just wanna live There is only so much I can give I don't wanna waste my time Makin' all the same mistakes I think I'm gonna lose my mind If I don't find myself a way to escape 'Cause I've been wardin' off the boredom with a shortage of endorphins I awaken with an achin', layin' dormant in the mornin' Needing mental stimulation, I've been forcin' these recordings Every day is a gift but I've distorted the importance It's sort o' like a storm with dark clouds over our house Family goin' through it, strain is buildin' in my heart valves Under pressure with these dark thoughts contemplated Steadily stavin' off suicidal ideation Lookin' for patience, gradual growth, and evolution Makin' up another list, I got some resolutions 'Cause it doesn't gotta be the first of January To get your bad habits cleaned up like it's sanitary 'Cause goddamn, it's scary, when you're agin' But never changin', and get so broke you start breakin' I'm pacin', run around racin' Chasin' my tail so long I started chafin' Figured I'd be further, forever fostering fickle fate Worries pilin' up like a traffic jam on interstates Time tuggin' on me, my body is quiverin' Soreness where my kidney is, we're not immortal and it's sinking in Wrote about the last couple decades while hooked up to morphine Never take this for granted, haven't finished my story Fulfilled dreams, others linger like The Cranberries Livin' for the love o' this until I'm in the land buried Fed up with it all, lookin' for a way out Everything around me's heavy, headed for a breakdown I just wanna get up, yeah, I just wanna live There is only so much I can give I don't wanna waste my time Makin' all the same mistakes I think I'm gonna lose my mind If I don't find myself a way to escape

Stargazing 04:00
Yo, I'ma let this drop like a Tetris block When puttin' together lines, think I need a Tetinus shot Because I'm havin' like a spasm when I'm rappin' Yeah, I'm comin' out my cavern, packin' passages with passion And I'm passin' through the world around me, a wistful wanderer Midwestern Minnesotan, modern day philosopher In my mind a conqueror, been warrin' with my psyche Over analyzing, agonizing over my dreams Now they're night terrors, scared of unknown destinations Life's a trip and I've been trippin' off o' trepidation Tread along, tremblin', endin' statements in exclamations Weekends screamin', deep in thought while my pen is shakin' Pendulum swingin' while the record is spinnin' These goddamn clock hands strangle my neck every minute Life is comin' at me fast like a shot to the head So I'm ducking like the F-word on autocorrect Stargazing, triumph on the brink And all the thoughts I think turn to blots of ink Journals drippin', pages dampened with the weight of it Plannin' how to map a route, lost in the haze of it Stargazing, triumph on the brink And all the thoughts I think turn to blots of ink Journals drippin', pages dampened with the weight of it Plannin' how to map a route, lost, this might take a bit Scribble quotes in notes that's aspirational Musical meanderings manage to pack the pages full I can crack my cranial open to have my brain exposed Some tasks can take a toll but I ain't lackadaisical I gotta log a lot o' labor like a sweatshop Ridin' 'round the road to riches, skippin' over rest stops Determined to earn it without workin' a desk job Singin' a song through the sonics like a hedgehog Earnin' my stripes, it's part of my purpose in life Personal gripes overcome and I'm first in the fight And every verse I recite's like a tourniquet, tight And each word is precise as a surgical slice Because I'm certified fresh, the ripest tomato Doper than weed, got you baked just like a potato (hahahahaha) Constant with my confidence and highly motivated Underestimated greatness that cannot be overstated Stargazing, triumph on the brink And all the thoughts I think turn to blots of ink Journals drippin', pages dampened with the weight of it Plannin' how to map a route, lost in the haze of it Stargazing, triumph on the brink And all the thoughts I think turn to blots of ink Journals drippin', pages dampened with the weight of it Plannin' how to map a route, lost, this might take a bit And everywhere I go The music keeps on pumpin' It's givin' me a feelin' That I can keep on runnin' And everyone I know Is scared of bein' nothin' They're stretchin' out and reachin' For somethin' Stargazing, triumph on the brink And all the thoughts I think turn to blots of ink Journals drippin', pages dampened with the weight of it Plannin' how to map a route, lost in the haze of it Stargazing, triumph on the brink And all the thoughts I think turn to blots of ink Journals drippin', pages dampened with the weight of it Plannin' how to map a route, lost, this might take a bit

Salinger But our days are numbered like a calendar Need to blow up like the Space Shuttle Challenger Since a little fan, driven like a minivan But peeps been sleepin' like they're eatin' tryptophan And I ain't settlin' for table scraps Gotta go for gold like a Kurt Angle match Speakin' from the soul like Posdnuos Comin' with more rhymes than Dr. Seuss I'm cold with the flow like Link with the Ice Rod Smooth like butter, motherfucker, word to Phife Dawg [Christopher Michael Jensen] Testing, test, one, two, three Get up on the mic like drop that beat Came to rock a rhyme, really ready to roll I'm on stage all night, alright, let's go, like Testing, test, one, two, three Get up on the mic like drop that beat Came to rock a rhyme, really ready to roll I'm on stage all night, alright, let's go, right [Nickle Nelly] We achoo like a sneeze, catchin' a breeze As we're rappin' with ease, after showin' up late fashionably My style is to wear my heart on my sleeve So when I'm armed with beats, I go so hard it's hard to believe Everybody come and see the main attractions Trained assassins on the mic, settin' off these crazy chain reactions What'll happen next? Nobody knows Combination more volatile than mixin' bakin' powder with Coke I've now awoke, I'm havin' a revival Learnin' to cope, it's a matter of survival Hand me that apple, I'm Adam in the Bible Highest level of communication, Amy Adams in Arrival I've had enough of this libel, we champions with titles Compared to us they're advanced as middle school band recitals What's the cost of an original thought?
